What's a blog?

When I performed spell check on my most recent entry, it said it didn't recognize the word "blog." Imagine that -- The blog's own spell check doesn't recognize it. It suggested the following alternatives to replace it with:

bloc
bloch
blocs
blows
bloke
block
bolos
bloc's
blouse
blocky

I like the word "blocky," and I'm going to endeavor to use it more often in my day-t0-day speech. Its definition, of course, is "resembling a block in shape." Go figure.
