Not Mandy

NCC recently welcomed a new intern for the summer named Amanda. She played keys today at Ballston. Very nice gal, cute blonde, great smile. But don't call her Mandy. The following is not an exact transcript, but close enough. (Tracy witnessed the whole thing).

Greg: Do you go by Mandy for short?
Amanda: No.
Greg: Do you ever go by Mandy?
Amanda: No.
Greg: Do your friends call you Mandy?
Amanda: No.
Greg: Can I call you Mandy?
Amanda: No. No-No, No.

I told Tracy I haven't heard "no" so many times from a girl since youth group. It brought back memories.
