This line totally busted me. For a long time I was (b) – not having an act was my act. My game has totally evolved since then, though. I like to change up my game for every girl I swoop on. I don't want to rock the same rap with each one; they're all different and therefore require a targeted, personalized, individual rap.

Last Friday night I went to The Big Hunt for some drinks to wind down. While there I got into a conversation with a young woman while we were both waiting for the restroom. [Interesting side-note: Looking at my past successes and occasional non-successes with the ladies, many of the success stories arose from an initial meeting in line at a bathroom.]

Anyway, I was rapping with this girl and I had a tune stuck in my head. Inspired by Maverick and Goose I decided to bust it out. You’ve lost that loving feeling? Nope.

Motownphilly.

Yup, I rocked the Boyz II Men jam. I kicked out a chorus, Shawn’s first verse and part of the Doom Doom Doom Da Dop break-down part.

For the record, I got her number. I saw her later in the night on the patio and she had a bunch of dudes draped all over her. I don’t intend to be just another dude, so I won’t be calling her.

I will, however, continue to use the Motownphilly Serenade.
