Move over, Allstate. Hello, USAA!

I don't know what your insurance situation is, but . . . I just switched to USAA from Allstate. I now have greater coverage with about a 75% savings. Seriously. I went from 50-100-50 to 100-300-50. Was paying about $450.00 every six months (about $75.00 a month). Now paying $120 for six months. With GREATER coverage!!

So I decided to splurge and got renter's insurance, too. Hey, you never know. I've got some cool stuff now, and I want to be able to replace it in the event of fire or theft or something. Renter's insurance came to $115 for the year.

I spent $235 today for six months of auto insurance and a year of renter's insurance. That would have gotten me about three months of auto insurance with Allstate.

I almost want to go home and break stuff to celebrate.
